Kurt provides investment consulting to a wide range of clients, including defined contributions plans, defined benefit plans, endowments, foundations and family offices.
His responsibilities include developing and revising investment policy statements, plan review and cost analysis, asset allocation modeling, manager due diligence and selection, and performance measurement and evaluation. In addition, he provides retirement plan provider evaluations, searches and education. In addition to serving clients, Kurt also leads the business development and marketing efforts for the Atlanta Consulting Group.
His goal for our clients is to uphold and provide the elite level of service that the Atlanta Consulting Group is known for. He is dedicated to acting in the best interest of clients, helping them to meet their investment goals and objectives in the most efficient manner.
Before joining the Atlanta Consulting Group in 2009, Kurt was a financial advisor in the Athens, Georgia, office of Morgan Keegan. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Carolina University and is a member of the North Carolina Pi chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Kurt holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designation, offering expertise in investment fiduciary standards of care and is also a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).
Kurt and his wife, Allison, have three children, Jackson, Blakely, and Quinn. Kurt is a member of the Roswell Bass Club and participates in various wildlife conservation projects. He is a member of St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church and a past member of Boy Scout troop 1776, earning the status of Eagle Scout.
